I captured this image in my backyard at the Firebush when the hummingbird came to feed on the necatar in the blossoms. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Hi Artie, I would defer to your judgement and knowledge. I am still going back and forth to the books to identify birds. Thank you for viewing and commenting.

Nice hummer frame. The pose and flower are both nice. The crop works well.

The speckled throat would indicate a young male. A female's would be fully white. An adult male's, well, shiny ruby. Great job here Joe, nice and sharp, and I love the plant.

I like the flower, wing position, natural light and composition. Well done Joe.

Nice natural light result! These are tough shots since the light needed to even remotely stop the wings is too harsh to bring out the colors.
The shadows here a a bit tough, particularly on the flower, but the bird is super sharp and the wings in a great position.

Well done Joe. Lovely image and very pleasing to the eye. Nice two toned BG showing the bird real good.
