Crawling in the mud again, Daniel... love the image. I go back and forth regarding removing the darker vegetation about one third up on the left side, my eyes are drawn to it. Thank you for sharing.

The bird is great, but the vegetation is perfect. It's add a wonderful touch of context without being at all distracting. Lovely detail in the bird's whites as well.

Beautiful frame Daniel. Vegetation and the bird are perfect together. This is one of my favorite shorebird images you have posted. This and the Spotted Sandpiper shot are the ones that stand out the most to me. I have many frames of this species but none as beautiful as this.
