Here is the female of the male Sunbird posted recently.
It is a pity I could not photograph them together.
She is a drabber looking bird in comparison to the male but i.m.o still beautiful.


The photo was taken near the Pafuri area of the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

Taken hand-held with Canon 5D4; 500 F4; ISO 1000; F4.5; 1/500.

Basic adjustments and cropping in Lightroom and Photoshop CC

Nice feeding pose you captured here. The flowers are pretty cool. Some more room below would be nice.

The details look pretty nice overall as do the colors and exposure. Too bad it wasn't just on the flower she's standing on as the out of focus branch and flowers in the background does make the image a bit messy, but still a nice capture overall.

Close, but her head is in shadow. At the least you can try opening the face up to even out the EXP.
