Really neat bird pose and pose and eye skin. In post I think that it could go a lot lighter ... In the field, it would have been great to get right down on the ground.

with love, artie

Ditto Artie, plus I added "Theme" for you. I like the grasses hanging from the bill.

This looks like a Bare-eyed Cockatoo. I only know that because there is one on YouTube with a vocabulary that a sailor would blush at :bg3:

I agree that the lower you go the better off you'd be. Good sharpness and detail on the head and face.

Nice one Sanjeev. LIke the details, pose, grass in the beak. I would have tried to brighten the eyes a bit.

Interesting pose for this bird. Nice detail in the whites. I might consider toning down the brown spots in the BG.

Not a cockatoo. Mostly known as a corella or little corella (Cacatua sanguinea).

This looks like a Bare-eyed Cockatoo.

Little Corella :)

Though technically, still a cockatoo species.

Agree about getting lower and being lighter. Nice to shoot these white rascals in soft light. Well done!

Not a cockatoo.

Technically speaking, yes, it is still a species of cockatoo. :)
