Another shot from the trip to photograph White-tailed Sea eagles, taken from a small, rolling skiff, got to love this curling wing tips, but I must get round to processing some new SA images.

Thanks to those who viewed or especially commented on the previous image.

Sharp with a good exposure and a nice splash made possible by good timing. May we assume that the bird was baited? What are SA images?

Though I am not a fan of the shadows at least the near wing shadow did not make it to the bird's face.

Correct.

What are SA images?

South African images, just back, caught up with Stu B & Gabriela too. :S3:

Thanks Artie.

Sweet light. Love that trailing water on the fish. Great timing as well.

Hi Steve, excellent timing here and love the intense look on the Eagles face. I do like the light in this, and the feather detail showing on the far wing is tops. Tack sharp all round, and yes, the curled primaries on the far wing, and the trailing splash, do add interest. Well captured bud.

Pretty darned good Steve, I like the wing position and the intense stare, highlight and darker areas very well rendered and super detail as usual.
