Blue Dasher Dragonfly, female. Looks like she has some eye damage.

Fascinating! Love those compound eyes - let me know when you have counted how many facets! How did you use the flash - on or off camera hot shoe, did you use a diffuser?

Hi Jon, thanks for the comment :S3:. Flash was in the hot shoe and no diffuser, ETTL with exposure compensation on the flash at -1.

Well it worked pretty well, I too usually have the gun on the hot shoe which is the "worst possible place" but it does give even lighting.
