Crypsis

On every hike in the Ecuadorian Chocó I think of all the things I'm missing. I took this to show how easily it is to walk by things. I think I could have used some more flash on the right to highlight the subject a bit more. Canon 5diii, canon 100, 2 flashes off mount, and tripod. f/14, 1/100, ISO 200.

Hi Jim,
Very interesting subject and I like the composition. Shows how this insect blends in so well as you say. Yes the image seems too dark as you state above.

Agree about raising the exposure here. Nice overall. Really like the composition and the dark background.

Jim I rather like the image, it is underexposed and whilst the flash is evident it does not shout out flash. A little use of curves will enhance the detail rather well.
