Good detail across the bird, bonus prey and good to have it looking your way. The light was a bit harsh but well handled. Love that fanned tail and the plumage patterning there. A good, solid shot.

looks good John, I'd be tempted to pull more details form the left underwing. fish is a plus and I like the diagonal composition too

Hi John, beautiful bird, as has been said the fish is a bonus. Nice diagonal placement of the bird. I agree with Arash that I think you can open the shadows on the underside of the wings for more detail, whatever noise shows can be handled in Lightroom. Thank you for sharing.

A fine shot John I too would suggest lifting the shadows a little otherwise great shot.
