What a cool bird. I love the setting too, but I would like to see a lower shooting angle.

I like this!
The detail and colors look good and I love that big foot.
I doubt you could get lower as you were confined to a safari jeep.Light a bit harsh but this is Africa and light gets harsh so quickly!
This shows the Ngorongoro Crater very well. This is how i remember it with the clouds and crater rim surrounding you.

A magnificent bird, a treat to see. Exposure, colors and detail look good, like the environment you show. It would have been better if the shooting angle was changed so the water did not intersect the birds head. That being said is being very critical because I have no idea of the conditions you were encountering when capturing the image. Thank you for sharing, Sanjeev.
