It's only when processing this image of an inchworm that I noticed a male Black-throated Green Warbler looming large in the frame!:t3. Seriously though, bonus points to those who can spot that worm in less than three seconds....

Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/250s., f/5.6, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, small crop for comp, usual eye work, a few highlights tamed in the foliage and desaturated the bright branch tips, NR to the BG.

Great pose from the BT Green, nicely framed among the spruce branches. It took me more than three seconds. At first I thought the warbler must have devoured the inchworm by the time I looked for it, but I finally spotted him. I'd say he's more like a centimeter.

A fabulous image Dan, great composition and colours. The pose takes this up a notch! I honestly could not find it & took me while to figure out.

Hi Daniel. Great image...the foliage, colours and composition works well, but for me the head seems over sharpened.

Nice how the bird is framed by the branches. Details look good as well.

I like the perky pose here!

I love this bird and the pose. They're always so full of character. Good interesting setting without being distracting. Well done Daniel.
