This looks great Joe! Beautiful soft feather details on the hawk, nice calling pose and the hanging Spanish Moss really enhances the shot. Only thing I could suggest is to maybe brighten the face a touch around the eye and to lower the highlights and yellows a little bit on the legs and undertail coverts.

Fierce expression.Great! (also like the moss) Surprised you were close enough for only 175mm.

Wow, great detail, you were close too! Fine image. The only thing that would take it over the top for me would be a green BG and a lower shooting angle, but still absolutely well done.

Hi Joe. Great calling (or yawning?) pose. I love the Circle B Spanish Moss which adds nicely to the frame. Good suggestions from Isaac.

Well done Joe, this is looking real good. Love the detail, HA and perch. The BG colours show the bird nicely.

Good work

His position in the perch works really well, and the calling pose is great. Yeah, a lower shooting angle would have been good, but
this is a good result regardless. Great detail on the legs and feet as well.

I would have liked more room for the comp (depending on what is outside what we currently see), but I like everything else. Cool view of the talons.
