Southern African Lion

Captured this image in Botswana in February this year as this young male lion and four young lionesses (to our right), were stalking a large Kudu. Shortly after this image was taken they gave pursuit, but the Kudu got away. C&C welcome.

Hi Geoffrey, good that you got him out in the open and not hidden by the vegetation, nice space to look into. Looks quite young, but perhaps rather optimistic in taking down a full adult Kudu especially with young females, obviously he's setting up his pride. Techs look good and although on the laptop PP too.

A well exposed and well composed image indeed. I too like the inclusion of habitat here as well as pose from this beautiful young male. Colours look good to me, so does sharpness.
