Lightroom copyright

How do I change the font and style of my copyright watermark in LR.

It should be under the Identity Plate setup function. On Mac Go: Lightroom Menu>Identity Plate Setup.

First go to the Lightroom menu and click Identity Plate setup as shown . . .

Then, you should get this menu, which is where you can make changes. The changes are fairly limited though, but there is a Lightroom plugin out called Lightroom Mogrify that will let you do more. I think it is free, but I know it offers at least a free trial.

Edit:

I think I may have misled you. I'm terribly sorry. My copyright text looked so similar to the default text that I didn't realize that changing the font in the ID plate setup has NO EFFECT on the actual watermark. Only the content will change. :(

LRMogrify is your answer if you want to change it.

I think the copyright will be displayed only on images being sent to the web? Will find it in the output section of the Web section Will do some research for you .

The copyright also shows up when you export if you select the option to "Add Copyright Watermark" on the Export dialog. I was looking to find out how to change the copyright type face also. If I figure it out, I'll post.

If you go to the print module you will find a box to check to include a copyright. In the lower right hand corner is a little triangle. If you click it you can create any number of different selectable copyright notices, text and or graphic. You can also use the "main identity plate" which is what has been discussed above.

Very Interesting. I tried the part of exporting to a .pdf and then saving as a .jpg. Did not know you could do that - how cool.

But the tool for saving as a .jpg doesn't give you the ability to set the long-edge the way the export from Lightroom does. It will be very nice when version 2.0 allows export from this page....

I just upgraded to 2.0, but haven't had a chance to try it yet. I've got quite a backlog of images from a couple shoots and I need to just stick with my work-flow to get them done. Then I can play some :D
