This cooperative oystercatcher was captured somewhere along the coast of Norway several weeks ago. I was hoping to catch him taking off, but needless to say he went in the wrong direction.

Nice portrait Bill. Well balanced in my view. Not sure if you would agree, perhaps the light is a bit strong?
I was hoping to catch him taking off, but needless to say he went in the wrong direction.
I had to laugh at this one... happens all the time, doesn't it?

Very nice. Love the lichen covered rocks here. Looks like you have killing it with that Sigma glass.

Very fine portrait. I see your oystercatchers have the same weird pupils as our American oystercatchers. Almost look double.
