Dear Friends,
I have not shared an image for the past few days, been trying to process a few rather challenging frames from my Kruger trip and still not 100% happy with the results. So I have a simple lion portrait for you tonight, and Rachel you will have to "bear" with me until I get the others right:t3
This is FF. Taken one early morning in semi-cloudy conditions and shot without support, therefore the high SS. Four cubs were crossing the road and a number of cars present at the sighting, impossible to reposition vehicle. I just stretched to the other window and took a few frames before those little chaps disappeared from view.
Nikon D5
Nikon 500 F4
ISO 800
F6.3
1/3200s
Processed in LR and PSCC, exposure, curves, levels, selective colour adjustments and a couple of other tiny tweaks. Hope you don't find this too boring, I love portraits and lions and I thought having a clean BG was a bit of a bonus, so here it is...
Thank you kindly for comments and critique on my previous images, I truly appreciate it.
Warmest regards,
