This image was taken couple of weeks back in Bear River Migratory Refuge.

Nikon D500,500 f/4, 1.4x TCIII
ISO 1000 f/5.6, 1/2000 sec
Manual Mode, Matrix Metering, +1 EV
Photographed from Car using Blub


Post Processing:-
Adjustments in Lightroom
Neat Image Noise Reduction, Uncropped
Added Exposure +0.40
Cleaned background at bottom left corner (Remove out of focus dry branches)
Added a bit more saturation to the red wing

Love the perch and small-in-the-frame environment treatment. Background is really wonderful too with the two colours. I think the head turn adds Great detail and handling of that black plumage too.

Very nice image. Has an artistic feel to it.
The wispy perch is nice and simple and creates a nice "small in the frame" image.
Great 2 toned BG.

Hi Krishna, well exposed on the blacks with a nice pose. Normally we would have the bird on the RHS looking out to the left, but I can see your thinking showing the RHS of the bush. Love the colours in the BG.

I like the soft BKGR colors and the sharpness but otherwise this one does not do to much for me ...

This one doesn't work fro me either, perch is too busy and not very attractive. blacks have lost detail
