Time for one last high-key shot. I hope I have the ID right on these lovely birds. If not, please let me know. I do wish the back bird had his head turned just a tad to match the one in front. There were scant remains of a giraffe on the ground, and at least three species of vultures in the surrounding trees. From the looks of the crop on these guys, I think they got their fill.

D500, Sigma 150-600C @ 600mm; ISO 2000, 1/2500s @ f/6.3 manual.

The high-key BG works really well with the grays of the birds and the perch. Agree with you about the head angle of the back bird, but still a very nice frame!

This is very cool. I like the symmetry of the birds, despite the head angle. Details are nice. Probably worth cleaning up the white wash on the bark. Also the tree and the birds seem a little too gray. These birds are more of a sandy brown as far as I recall. Should be an easy fix. Very nice one Bill. You guys look like you had an amazing time.
