JT,
Very unique incoming shot, nice BG, and colors.

The hardest thing to do in bird flight photography is to get an incoming bird's head tack sharp and you nailed it here!
Great BG.I like the dangling feet. Exposure and comp are excellent.
The light nicely shines on the face.
In a perfect world, the underwings would be a bit more lit up, but the sun at your side makes this impossible.

Well done on the sharpness. Images like this are why I switched :) For the repost I ran my NIK 50-50 recipe on the bird only and used a large brush to erase the edges at 50%. Me thinks that it helps.

wtih love, artie

I really like this one Juan. It is obviously a very hard shot to get in the first place as ducks don't generally fly at you at eye level and then you have to nail the focus. So well done on both counts. Good detail, tack focus, The dark background works and Artie's edit improves. Agree that in a perfect world there would be more detail available under the wings.
