This is another frame from the same harrier that I posted before, given the ugly perch I opted to get closer for a closer shot and came up with this as the sun was going down. I like this frame because it has fine details I had never seen before on a harrier. In fact it is probably the most detailed shot of a wild harrier I have ever seen. This small version doesn't do justice, I had to compress it quite a bit to bring the files size <600KB but it really rocks at full size.

Nikon D850 600 f/4 FL ISO 3200 f/5.6 at 1/2500sec hand held processed with C1 Pro

I let you guess how much of a crop it is. :bg3:

Hi Arash, lovely image of this harrier. Pleased to read that you are discovering what the dark side offers. Thank you for sharing.

Fantastic shot Arash! I can never get anywhere near wild Harriers here in the UK so this is truly amazing to me!

Great detail here especially the feathers. Love the light and background. I am going to guess this is a pretty big crop. You are using a high mega pixel body. Even cropping a image 50% you will still have a lot of pixels on the bird.

Nice detail -- I don't think I've ever seen a picture of a harrier so close before. I'll guess this is about 30% of the original frame which is still ~13 (?) MP based...on nothing really :bg3:. A lot to take in in this photo. How do you find the D850 at high ISO? Looks great here. TFS

That's some killer detail you got there!!
Love the tiny feather details around the break and nare.
Nice last minute light too.

Fabulous detail, for sure, Arash. You did give some hints about how much crop as I cheated and looked back at your earlier post with the 200-500. I'd say this is about 15 to 20% of the frame area - maybe even less. Very impressive if so.
