To get this tiny and fast bird in flight is a first for me, quite happy with this frame for the first try but I had to pay price which was falling in deep mud and almost totaling my gear.Hope you like this one. BG is water

Shot with my D5 and Nikon 600mm FL + 1.4X III. ISO 3200. f/5.6 at 1/2500sec hand held. processed with C1 Pro

Arash - Love the wings up; I love that you got the bird perfectly parallel to the back of the camera; and obviously just to catch one of these little guys in flight is a challenge in itself which you have pulled off nicely here. First Artie falls in his house...then you're out there trying to drop your new rig by falling in the mud! I hope your new gear is alright, and I hope you're ok. Glad you got that frame though :) As always, thank you for sharing this one.

Ah love this one. Just wish I could have been there to hear what you said after the fall :) Luckily, you can hose that new gear down - right... Cheers -

Nice wing position and I love the trailing feet. I don't know how you manage to get these plovers / shorebirds in flight. Glad your new gear survived! TFS

What a beauty! I've tried numerous times to catch these guys in flight with no success. Closest I've come is with Black-bellied Plovers, but they are larger and slower and even then I couldn't manage such a sweet shot. Glad your Dark-Side gear is working well for you and that it survived the tumble. What we put ourselves through to get the shot!

Wow, that is flipping pretty sharp for such a small bird. Looks great, especially for such a high ISO. Very nice Arash
