The light is a bit flat but I liked the mood that the falling snow added.

Beautiful winter scene, and as you mentioned, the snow is a big plus.

My only nit is having him merge with the shore. Wish he was a bit lower in the water.

Lovely winter scene and the falling snow is just terrific. Great exposure control and I like the balance of the three bands...the dark water, the snow and the dark trees above. Well captured.
