Another from the fun sessions I had with this pretty neat species.

Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/3200s., f/5.6, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, added a bit of canvas at left, darkened the pupil, toned down the very brightest whites (burn tool).

Daniel, Wow, what a neat angle and perspective. Head is sharp, nice motion blur on the wings to show action.
Maybe more of a pano crop with more off the bottom a bit bit more in front. Still wish it was mine, we don't see these ducks here in So. CA.

Love it. Like the low POV, the head angle, the wings touching the water. The only thing a don't like about it is that I didn't take it! :)

Really nice Daniel. Action is great and the details are as well. I can go out any day in the winter and see hundreds of Goldeneye, the only problem is that they are half a mile out in the Bay!!!

Very well captured. It is good that you got so close to them, they are beautiful birds, and well presented here.

Great eye contact and a fantastic pose. Don't see many of these guys in my neck of the woods, so I'm enjoying seeing your images!
