This pelican landed right in front of me, soaking wet from a dip in the ocean. I pulled up the curve a bit and added +15 brightness in Photoshop. Too much? Not enough? Just right?
At least he looks better than I do when I get out of the water. I do love all the fine detail the 5D mkIV caught on this bird!

Wow the details certainly are there, and the brightness looks good on my monitor. Maybe a bit more room above would be good, and I do feel the image is rather on the cool side as far as WB goes. f/9 proved to be just perfect here.

Nice pose. Tack sharp. I'm OK with the brightness.

I am a fan. Detail is off the chart. Background compliments. Brightness looks good on my monitor. I like the composition. tfs

Super details on this wet bird. One more vote for a little more room above. I can't comment on the WB...looking at it on a non calibrated monitor. Very nice work!

Nice one Jake. Great details and a very unique portrait of this super wet pelican. I agree with a touch more room above and also warming up the bird. Curious is this daylight white balance?

The WB was on automatic. What is the best way to warm up the bird in Photoshop? I don't see a WB slider under "adjustments".
Thanks!
