Captured this image back in Nov. of 2014 on Chincoteague Island. This is another pose from one I had originally posted. C&C welcome.

Geoffrey:
I like the simplicity, curved perch, pose.
On my monitor, the image is just a bit dark, but this is a matter of taste in many cases.

This dark bird with the dark background works nicely.

Very nice image, I like the colours, if you were inclined you could selectively adjust the bird and or background to make it pop a little more. Maybe a little more sharpening to the head would be of benefit?

Nice work Geoffrey. A very typical pose for a cormorant, well captured. I agree with the critiques so far about brightening the bird and a bit of sharpening around the head.
