It is almost time to begin the annual pilgrimage to the rookery in the alligator breeding pond at Gatorland, Orlando, Florida. Last year Dottie and I purchased annual passes. This worked really well because the rookery is open to photographers from February to mid June. The birds use the rookery at different times, Great Egrets are first, then Snowy Egrets, followed by Cattle Egrets and Tri-colored Herons. A few Wood Storks and Roseate Spoonbills use the rookery. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.
