Another photo from Bosque. Still have plenty to work on :)

On this image I had to clone out some pesky Pintails Ducks that were right by the water edge. They would appear as dark spots just underneath the flight path of the cranes most mornings when getting photos low over the water.

Raybel:

I love the color harmony here, between bird and background. Nice full down wing flap.

The bird could benefit from a bit more sharpening, esp. the head/bill area.

Cheers

Perfect! thank you for the suggestion. I kept feeling something was missing around the head area. I just added a bit more sharpening to it and that was the key!

Looks sharp enough to me...
Standard Crane shot but the colors take this up a notch.
Very attractive.

Very nice. A great pose and the colors are just great. I wonder if a touch more contrast could help separate the bird from the BG (although the extra sharpening may have done just that). Look forward to seeing more from Bosque. TFS

Lovely shot, I think also a bit more contrast on the bird makes a significant difference, it doesn't need much but it does make it pop.

I like the wing position, complimentary BG, setting and composition. Beautiful image Ray!

Beautiful work Ray. Love the background but I, too, would work on the tones on the bird to provide a bit more separation and pop. The rest looks wonderful
