Taken yesterday with:
Canon EOS 5D Mark IV
EF600mm f/4L IS II USM +1.4x III
ƒ/8.0
1/400
ISO 2500

I recently like to shoot wider with the bird smaller in the frame, without using extender.
I wonder what you think about that one.

This is great. Beautiful image quality and composition. I love everything about this except those 2 vertical black lines in the background. One starts right above the birds head and the other above the stump. I would clone both of those out or if this is a set up I would try and address that. I agree that smaller in the frame is far more beautiful for these types of images.

A lovely shot, with perfect pose and head angle. The beautiful perch makes the small-in-frame approach work nicely.

Sweet pose and light Tomasz, pretty BG and the moss covered perch is a treat for the eye!

I like the shot as is Tom it looks just great that size.
You may consider it insignificant but perhaps consider stamping out the tiny bits of white food debris on the log and bill??

Thanks. I have cloned out those white spots on the bill. I think it looks better now. You can see that version on my flickr.
