We are always trying to fill the frame. So found theme for the month interesting. Which made post processing very easy. This is the uncropped image with minimal level adjustment and minimal NR on the BG using Nik Define.

This is really a tiny bird. And it is super fast and exteremly skittish. So it hides behind vegetation. Dashes in to pick a worm and is gone before you literally blink your eye. So had to rely on pre-focussing to the expected area and remote trigger to capture this image.

I like the way this little fellow jumps out of the frame at you , even though the BG is quite cluttered with similar colours. The crouched pose conveys the sense of imminent departure and the glint in the eye a sense of cheekiness. I'd remove the whitish worm-like extension off the end of the worm in the BG.

I think there is too much going on in the BG. Sorry, but this don't work for me.

Will
