Campbell albatross

Getting the evil eye from the Campbell albatross, taken from the back of the boat leaving Campbell Island. Slashing through a very strong wind, I like the way their eyes stay level even with the wings at an extreme angle.
Canon 1DXII and 100-400II @400mm handheld.
f6.3, 1/3200, ISO400. Full frame, gently processed in Lightroom.

I like the stormy setting and the clean look at the birds eye. A pretty good wing pose although the shadows on the wings are a bit unfortunate but nothing you could do. I think you could get some more details out of the brightest whites on the body / the beak as well. TFS
