Hi Guys

This is a part of the local river I have just discovered.. The discovery came about because my old camera club visited my new club over a long weekend for a social gathering and we thought " Where are we going to take them.." So I was introduced to this spot which is quite close to my new house... Enough of the boring story, this is the Blackwood river which winds its way through Lower Western Australia and into the sea eventually. Flows during the Winter, reduced to a trickle in summer and really just turns into a barely connected series of pools...

1D4 & 18mm Zeiss distagon (With CP) and sitting on tripod.
0.3 sec at F18, ISO 160, full frame
set levels etc in ACR, & a slight tweek in CS6 using exposure layer. not much else

This is a big Wow! for me. I love the greens and the colors of the far shoreline. The only thing that I do not like can be fixed either with a very small crop from the left or with Content Aware Fill. What is it that bugs me?

with love, artie

Hi Artie.. Thanks for commenting! and well spotted... Without a doubt it would be that tiny tip of the rock peaking in from the edge mid frame..

best regards
Don
