Nice dining capture, Jonathan. Like the raised foot, and that you left the dried plant on the left.

Love the bird. What a fresh juvenile.

#1: there is some very funky stuff going on our left side of the little plant ... May I assume that you did some work there?

#2: the repost addresses the concept of different strokes for different folks :)

That is a hot bird. I share Arties love of these juvenile Dunlins. We just hardly get them in the Northeast part of the US. Maybe a few per year at most. I like this shot. Nice and sharp, nice colors and shows the feeding behavior nicely. Nice one Jonathan.

Artie you are bang on! I thought it looked ok but obviously not good enough! the tussock was on the RHS of the bird I repositioned it, I should have blended more carefully.

I'll have to blame it on my new varifocals and reading glasses - not getting on with them, going for another eye test Saturday to check prescription.:w3
