Here's another photo from this winter. I got some pretty good looks at bald eagles for the first time, and this juvenile was showing off for me!

Doug,

Great shot and EXP. I have not had to deal with snow (Houston, TX) but know it must offer challenges to get the correct EXP. Was this taken in NM??

Have a blessed day - dave b.

Nice with the raised wings. The eyes would look better/sharper with some work.

Bird's fish or yours?

I like the wing position - it really shows off the young coloring nicely. I thought maybe the water should be level so I rotated CW by 2.3 degrees. I tried to sharpen a bit more and bring out some of the shadow details. This would definitely be better starting with the full size image but here it is anyway (sorry of cutting your name off ... it was lost in rotation).

Thanks Leroy. The re-post is better but they eye could still use some work.

Great capture of this moment. Maybe a bit CW rotation, the surface of the water does not look straight.

I would try rotating some more to get the horizon straight & see how that looks. You captured a great moment.
