My wife found the caterpillar crawling by the decking so I picked a piece of fuchsia (one of the foodplants) placed it in the plamp and used the lawn as a backdrop. In very quick time he devoured two leaves and one of the flowers! Once photographed I placed him on the lower branches of the fuchsia bush. Next day we found another by the pizza oven - no idea where it came from, it must have been quite a crawl!
I had to do quite a bit of adjustment to saturation and luminosity to get the colours visually acceptable, the red contrasted very strongly with the green and the colours looked garish.
