I like the pose and image design with the two leaves curling around the corners. However, to me, it looks like too much NR was applied as details on the bird look smoothed out and there is some posterization in the BG, but see what others think. TFS

I like the composition here Dan: the diagonal perch and leaf curling towards the subject. The bird looks soft to me which detracts. I really like photographing small birds and am glad to see you post this one - but they do pose challenges often lurking in shaded undergrowth and moving very quickly - a combination that makes it challenging to get keepers. Oh, and I can also see the posterisation just above the head as mentioned by Alex.

I like the composition on this one, not normally a fan of head on shots, but it works fine here.

The sharpness is a little lacking around the face, a little more sharpening (or less NR if you added to to the bird) should help

I'd try a contrast mask on the face and neck. I hope that everyone realizes that these little speedsters are 100% impossible to photograph :)
