This small dart frog, roughly the size of a thumb nail, and is endemic to Tarapoto, Peru. It is a captive bred specimen that was photographed during one of my recently concluded dart frog workshops. Later this month I will be traveling to the Tarapoto region of Peru and do hope to be able to photograph numerous species of dart frogs and tree frogs in the jungle and a host of other critters that call the rainforest home.

Nice sharpness here with good light. Maybe the frog would look nicer lower in the frame. This is nice though.

Very nice image, I like the lighting and composition. I think I would be inclined to lift the lower tones just a little, i get the impression the image is just a little "heavy".

Cool pose and I like the low shooting angle! The flash worked well and you got good sharpness for f/22! Very nicely done!
