Still processing files from last year when I photographed falcons in SoCal. This is an adult bird stoopping.

Amazing to catch this falcon in stooping mode - he was probably going at the speed of sound :S3:. Great detail, as usual, and I like the open beak.

Remarkable! A really fine shot and I imagine remarkably difficult to achieve. Super clean and sharp with nice colours and tones.

Top shot for IQ and I like the view showing off those powerful wing muscles and the aerofoil curves across the wings. What a machine!

Very nice. Beautiful flight pose on a beautiful bird. Great HA and top view. I am seeing on my monitor a 'haze' on the bird. Like a shot through mist. Not so 'shiny' as your usual flight shots.

Thanks all, William not sure what you see, it looks ok to my eye. It was a back-lit shot so no sun on the falcon
