Stacked Maples

Found these overlapping Maples in one of my favorite swamps. Silver reflection from clouds. Fuji S3 Pro, Sigma 180 macro, Tripod F32.

The composition works for me Mike with the dark water patterns outlined by the cloud reflections!!
This isn't what you call 'sump-oil' Mike?

Hey Mike,
You never cease to amaze me with your compositions. The dark/black area around the leaves and then the silver patterns of the water all combine with the leaf to make a very nice image. It would be interesting to see this one in a B&W version although I suspect it may lose some of it's impact......as the color........even sligh as it is of the maple leafs don't let the blacks or silver to overpower the image. Very nice!
