Sharp with a good exposure. Light angle, perch, background, and partially hidden tail are all not so good.

Perhaps not the best light conditions or BG, but this is fantastic bird. You should try again.

I like this a lot, Jay. It may not be a 'perfect' photo but the bird is beautiful and nice colours contrasting with the neutral background colours, which I also happen to like. IQ looks excellent The only thing I'd do if it was mine was flatten out the contrast on the bird a little to lift some of the darker parts a bit more.

What a handsome bird Jay. I like the crop and BG. Initially I wanted to say it looked a little over-saturated, but looking at how high that key-light is, it seems you were hanging on til the very end of optimal light. That sunlight really pulled every color out of this bird.
