Spider time in Florida, every August these appear. Any of the trails that have a canopy of vegetation overhead have the webs stretched from branch to branch. The spiders dangle overhead, not a good time for one who doesn't like spiders. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Whoa what a beauty! The colours just shout out for attention a super shot.
Being really picky now the four legs (or bits that might be called "feet") are just a little out of focus.
I once read up about the zig zag bit I will have to refresh my memory!

A very colorful spider and well photographed! Good sharpness on the spider (other than the tips of the front legs, as Jon noted - a very minor point) and a nice OOF background. The zig-zag structure is called a stabilimentum. There are quite a number of proposed functions for this structure - as a Wikipedia search will attest. :S3:

Beautiful capture and nice sharpness on the spider's body. Very nicely done!
