Here's one from last year in Iceland. These guys were very vocal if you were even remotely near a nesting area.

D7200, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 1000, 1/2500s @ f/7.1 manual.

Hi Bill, lovely flight pose with the open beak, and against a very clean BG. I would try and remove the green from the far underwing and belly.

You have captured the typical shallow flight beat of these redshanks perfectly.

Looks like focus locked on to the near wing, but I love the calling-in-flight pose and beautiful BG. Using the sponge tool set to desaturation at about 8-10% should remove the green cast that Stu refers to. Not an easy image to get, well done overall!

Thank you all. Yes, Daniel, I think you're right about the focus point. I assume the green on the underwing and belly is reflecting from the lush green field he was flying over. I'll try the Sponge to take it down.
