A couple of weeks ago I was determined, after seeing a number of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds in a local preserve, to capture an image as they approached and started drinking
nectar from the Blossoms of a Spotted Touch-Me-Not also known as Orange Jewelweed. Of course they landed everywhere else or while I was pre focused on a blossom they would
start drinking from blossoms 30 feet away. After returning five days in a row, my persistence paid off with a number of images of this female. This was late afternoon light. C&C welcome.

Your persistence certainly did pay off. Nice light on Ms. Hummer, great wing position, and a good look at the Touch-Me-Not blossom.

Your patience has paid off, like the flower and the composition here. Is this cropped or full frame.
