Munching on flowers

While doing birds this morning found this appealing cricket and changed gears for macro. The little guy was munching on the flower and actually decimated the entire bloom !!! ... didn't take him long !!!

Al somewher between fantastic and excellent. i like the composition and the colours and the exposure and it is sharp without being refractile - great shot. Did you use a high pass filter by any chance?

Nicely composed & I liked the pose of the grasshopper with one of its hind legs on another blade of grass. Lovely colours too. Wish the bokeh was uniform & smooth; Also I'm not able to make up my mind if the sharpness is adequate.
