Brings back memories, in my younger and wilder days I may have been know to do that, especially when in Key West. I captured this image of a Black-bellied Whistling Duck at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Nice capture, at first I thought there was no background.

The title of this is great. Nice pose on the bird and the perch is nice as well.

Hi Joe. Love the capture and your title. Like your choice of crop to include enough of the perch, and give the Whistler plenty of room to howl. Love the raised foot.

Very cool pose.
I am not fond of this comp. It feels awkward to me. I would crop this as a (gasp!) square. Crop from the right to the start of the branch and then add a sliver up top..
The sky is a bit washed out so I would decrease the luminance of the blues in LR. Just go to the Hue/Saturation/Luminance tab in LR develop module and click on luminance and DECREASE the blue slider to taste.
The sky will regain its blue color nicely,
Gail

Joe, what a unique image, I don't think I've seen a duck howl at the moon before.
Wish the blue BG wasn't so washed out and I would change the crop ratio to get in a bit tighter to showoff this unique frame.
