Bean bag lying prone at the pondside.
Canon 1DX Canon 100-400 L IS II & 1.4TC III
ISO 1250 1/500 sec f8
Image captured at my back garden pond, I have had a pretty lean year compared to previous, hopefully things will pick up.

That's incredible for not being done with a macro. Very inspiring!

Matt the 100-400 II L IS & 1.4TC III is very useful for dragons and butterflies I am using it increasingly frequently because the combination is so flexible, at minimum focus at the 400 end it must be somewhere around 1:3

Very nice love the low angle and the background sharp as well.

Cool capture of this interesting behavior and that lens combo clearly is very sharp! I like the low shooting angle and the clean background. If mine, I'd be tempted to crop some from the left as the bright areas there are drawing my eye. :S3: Very nicely done!

I agree Steve, it seems that once the small log has been in the water for several weeks it undergoes a colour change resulting in a very contrasting appearance. I will look at reducing contrast in future.
