Cabbage white butterfly covered in dew after a cool clear evening. The perch is not ideal here but the butterfly is in excellent condition. Background is almost fully lit by the sun. Camera on sticks triggered with remote. Image adjustments in Lightroom. Full frame.

Hi John, love the dew drops, pose of the butterfly, and detail on the butterfly. I wish the perch was in focus, sometimes if you move back you can get more depth of field and then crop afterwards. If mine I might try toning down the background I think it competes with the butterfly being so bright. Thank you for sharing.

All the dewdrops make this a rather unique shot! Nice sharpness throughout your subject plus a pleasing comp. I tend to agree with Joseph about the brightest part of the background. It would be interesting to see this with those areas selectively toned down a little. :S3:
