Damselfly in the morning after roosting on a plant on a cool night. Image adjustments in Lightroom. Camera on sticks triggered with remote.

You have the thorax in focus the head a smidgen out and the tail quite a bit out of focus. If the tripod (I guess sticks means tripod??) was in use I would suggest orienting the head so that the plane of the camera back was parallel to the plane of the body of the damselfly. I sense the yellows are a little bright and perhaps the contrast is a little too high, having said that I think you are very much on the right track.

Wow, nice work to get this at 1/10 sec. I like the colours and crop. Overall, the image looks a little bright to me though. Pulling the exposure back and reducing the contrast - as Jonathan has suggested would make it even better IMO. I'd reduce contrast by lightening shadows and darkening highlights to flatten the tone curve while retaining the mid-tone contrast.
