This unusually cooperative Great Spangled Frittilary was foraging on thistle flowers. Sort of a butterfly in habitat shot. Canon 1DX II, 100mm macro. 1/200, f/11, ISO 320, KX-800 macro twin lite (diffused) as main light, hand held. Cropped for comp and NR on the background. http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/images/bluefox/buttons/edit.gif (http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/editpost.php?p=1159778&do=editpost) http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/images/bluefox/buttons/quote.gif (http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=1159778) http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/images/bluefox/buttons/quickreply.gif (http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=1159778) http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/images/bluefox/misc/blog/blogpost.gif (http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/blog_post.php?do=newblog&p=1159778) http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/images/bluefox/buttons/report.gif (http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/report.php?p=1159778)
