I understand that Google will no longer be updating Nik software, and am researching other offerings. I'm mostly concerned about Dfine and Silver Efex Pro.

Is anyone else looking at this? Have you found candidates you like?

Hi Jim
DXO and On One are positioned to take over that gap in the market. I have used neither.

I think both have equivalent filters to Nik's most popular filters and film simulations.

I also like the Topaz Labs products. IMHO Nik, Topaz, and On1 are each very good but slightly different from each other. I use these 3 as filters in Photoshop CC.
