It may not be the most colorful bird, but it make up for it big time with interesting patterns in the feathers! Great lighting and background, and what a perfect perch with some nice moss. cool shot!

Great looking bird, on a perfect perch for him. Good singing pose, detail, background -- all good.

Fabulous looking frame, those browns blend so well with the BG. Great looking pose and perch. I wouldn't change a thing. Well done

WOW! The thumbnail doesn't do this image justice.
I love the perch and the great BG.
You have a perfect HA and the detail in the feathers is perfect. Comp is perfect for my taste.
A pleasure to view,
Gail

Nothing else to add. Quite a beautiful image to view. You probably did not need to stop down that much, but good call not going wide-open here due to the thick perch.

Thanks Dan. When it was at f10 the moss would not be sharp and it was distracting. That's why i went with f13 as i had enough light.

Hi Tomasz, this species reminds me of a common pootoo bc of the camouflage, or woody appearance... This is tops again and i like how you were mindful of the likely off moss and stopped down to f13, well done. Is this bird a regular where you are?

Yes it's quite common here in Poland.
