I took this shot beside the garden pond. It is of course a set up, I placed bait on the lily pad and got numerous shots of the robin approaching, dancing and flying away.

I set the camera to rear button focus, this avoids the need to select manual focus when using the remote release.

Hi Jon, seems like your remote set up works well. I really like the forward wing position of the Robin, and the visible grub a bonus.

Was the 'bait' on the Lily that is in the frame?

Hi Stu yes it was on the lily pad, ........but it looks false, I just did this for a bit of fun.

Looks like this worked pretty well! Must've been fun to do too. I like the pose and the inclusion of the lilly pad. In the BG I'm seeing some streaks that I think might be heat shimmer? It might be worth it to do a gentle blur to the water / BG to smooth those out. TFS
